It's fair to say that many of us have had enough of being couped up inside because of COVID-19.
We are taking every and any excuse we can to get out in the sunshine and make the most of the great outdoors.
There are many great events that occur in Campbelltown every year that encourage us to get out of the house – from the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Walkathon, to Christmas carols at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
One of those other events in the Campbelltown City Challenge Walk.
The walk brings everyone from the community – regardless of background of age – together.
It really is one of the highlights on our local calendar every year.
In 2020, due to COVID-19, the event unfortunately had to be cancelled.
However, in 2021, it's back.
I commend Campbelltown Council for its hard work in making sure the Challenge Walk was not cancelled again this year.
The event will be held on March 14 at the Australian Botanical Garden Mount Annan.
I would encourage everyone in Campbelltown to lace up their joggers and participate in the 2021 Campbelltown City Challenge Walk.
